We are excited to launch our seventh annual Month of Giving! This year, we are going back to basics and drilling down on what is at the core of our mission.

The work of All Within My Hands is held up by three pillars, and throughout this month we’ll explore how each works individually and, finally, how they work together to create sustainable communities. We are proud to share that five of our partners are sponsoring this year’s Month of Giving. Carhartt, Wolverine, CNH, Upstaging, and ServiceTitan are all chipping in to make this year’s campaign the most successful yet!

We always welcome donations to the campaign. If you’d like to make a financial gift, visit allwithinmyhands.kindful.com to contribute to the “Month of Giving 2026 - General Fund.” If a particular area of our work speaks to you personally, you may select “Month of Giving 2026 - Workforce Education,” “Month of Giving 2026 - Fighting Hunger,” or “Month of Giving 2026 - Critical Local Services.”

Another way to give is by shopping in The Metallica Store! Starting today, the All Within My Hands Collection will be on sale for 20% off, making it the perfect time to stock up and show your support for the Foundation. Proceeds will be donated to the Month of Giving - General Fund. Additionally, The Met Store’s popular, new Flash Sales will also benefit Month of Giving, so keep an eye out for each week’s featured sale! And later this month, the Met Store will release four new Metallica Scholars-themed items produced by Oxford Pennant.

AUCTION

We’re taking the auction to the next level this year. From Tuesday, May 5, at 9 AM PT through Tuesday, May 26, at 9 AM PT, we will have more than 25 pieces of Metallica memorabilia open for bidding! This is the largest collection we’ve ever offered outside of a Helping Hands Benefit, and we can’t wait for you to see what we have in store for you! As always, all items include a Certificate of Authenticity, and all proceeds raised benefit the Month of Giving campaign.

LOCAL CHAPTER FUNDRAISING COMPETITION

Not just a fan favorite, but a staff favorite as well! The Local Chapter Fundraising Competition continues to be the highlight of Month of Giving, embodying the spirit of the Metallica Family and our #MetallicaGivesBack mantra. When the band launched AWMH back in 2017, the goal was to amplify the impact of good deeds by spreading awareness. Individually, we all have the power to make a positive difference. Together, we can create a movement! When we see the Local Chapters around the world get creative with events and turn up their passion for the Foundation, we feel that sense of community we set out to build.

Just as in years past, fan club members will compete to raise the most money for AWMH, with the winner claiming bragging rights and amazing prizes. Whether you're a member of a local chapter or not, find the group you want to support and help them work their way up the leaderboard. Last year, 28 chapters raised a combined $72,200.92; we can’t wait to see what you accomplish this year!

METALLICA MONDAYS

For those of you who listen to Maximum Metallica on SiriusXM, you know our friend Spider-Dan has been rooting around in The Metallica Black Box a lot lately to unearth old concerts, giving us the chance to either discover or relive unique gigs from the band’s history. Thinking about these shows got us nostalgic for a series that kept us going during the pandemic in 2020. That’s right…we’re bringing back #MetallicaMondays!

Every Monday throughout May, the Metallica YouTube channel will broadcast a live show for us to enjoy. It is, of course, free to watch. But if you’re able, we will have a fundraiser connected to each stream where you can make your Month of Giving contribution.

The return of #MetallicaMondays kicks off on May 4 at 5 PM PT with a show near and dear to our hearts: Helping Hands at The Masonic - November 3, 2018. Want a preview of what's to come? Check out the full schedule.

One of the best ways to help AWMH grow is to increase awareness of our work by telling your friends about us. We’re lucky to have the Metallica Family support us, but we’re still relatively unknown. Every conversation you have and social media post you publish makes a difference for us.
