Fighting Hunger & Supporting Critical Local Services
MAY 21, 2026
As the M72 World Tour rolls on, so does the support for those in need. Following the recent stop in Chorzów, Poland, at Stadion Ślaski, Metallica and AWMH have chosen two local nonprofit organizations to receive grants supporting the community. Thanks to Live Nation Poland and the Metallica fans, Silesian Food Bank (Banki Żywności) and Silesian Angels are receiving funding.

Silesian Food Bank rescues surplus food and short-dated products that are still safe and nutritious food from being wasted, and redistributes these goods to people in need using a network of local partner organizations that directly support vulnerable communities. They also actively promote awareness and behaviors that help reduce food waste. With our €20K donation, Silesian Food Bank will be able to strengthen our ability to rescue food and deliver it to people in need across Poland, increasing both the scale and efficiency of their operations.
Special thanks to members of Overkill.PL, the local Metallica Fan Club Chapter, who jumped in to volunteer their time and sort food while they were in town! These dedicated members of the Metallica family didn’t just donate their time, but their chapter is currently atop the leaderboard in our Month of Giving Fundraising Competition!

The Silesian Angels Foundation conducts charitable activities to help those in need – children, women, and seniors. With close contact to their community, they strive to provide support where it is particularly relevant and important. We are making a €20K donation to support children from disadvantaged families and help expand the “Zbuntowane Anioły” project, dedicated to women who have experienced life crises, violence, exclusion, or emotional hardship. And support for activities for seniors. The goal is to create opportunities, restore dignity, and strengthen hope for people who often feel unseen or unsupported, and we are honored to help.
