Fighting Hunger & Supporting Critical Local Services
NOVEMBER 7, 2025
Metallica’s stop in Adelaide brought out the fans and the funds to support the local community. Once again, in partnership with Live Nation Australia, Metallica and AWMH have chosen local nonprofit organizations to receive grants. We are inspired to utilize a portion of ticket sales to give back by fighting food insecurity and supporting critical local services in the places M72 takes hold for a day. Receiving funds in Adelaide are Foodbank SA & NT and Catherine House.
Foodbank SA & NT is part of Australia’s Foodbank network, which works with 2,929 charities around the country every year to provide food and groceries to those who need assistance. The network is the largest supporter of School Breakfast Programs in Australia, regularly supplying to 3,220 schools nationally. Following Metallica’s visit to Adelaide Oval, Foodbank SA & NT is receiving AUD$20,000.
Special thanks to our Metallica Family volunteers who donated their time for a shift at Foodbank SA, where they packed 396 hampers in just three hours that will go to families in need!
Catherine House provides crisis, longer-term accommodation and support services to women experiencing homelessness in South Australia. As South Australia’s only homelessness and recovery service for women, its work deals with the immediate issues created by homelessness and assists women in planning a future that helps them sustain housing and build purposeful lives. Catering is receiving AUD$20,000.
