Fighting Hunger & Supporting Critical Local Services
JUNE 25, 2026
The M72 World Tour brought a No Repeat Weekend takeover of Dublin, and the opportunity to give back was meaningful. In addition to the #BleedingMe Blood Drive in partnership with the Irish Blood Transfusion Service, Metallica and AWMH worked with Live Nation and MCD Productions to grant two local non-profit organizations helping those in need, Dublin Simon Community and Women’s Aid.
Dublin Simon Community supports the most vulnerable people in the community. They help individuals to exit homelessness, access and retain homes, and rebuild their lives by delivering housing, health, and wellbeing services. One particular program is the longstanding Soup Run. Since 1969, Dublin Simon - Soup Run has been providing food and a hot drink as a vehicle to hope and a warm embrace at a time when a person needs it most. Our €40K grant will ensure that their frontline staff can continue to operate on the ground and support our community directly 24/7, 365 days a year.

Women’s Aid is Ireland’s national organization working to end domestic violence against women and children. For over 50 years, Women's Aid has provided life-saving services, awareness, advocacy, and training to create safer communities across Ireland. Women’s Aid will use our €40K grant toward, but not limited to, their National Freephone Helpline that runs 24/7 in over 200 languages, their High-Risk Support Project, so that women who are at high risk of ongoing violence and homicide can receive rapid support and continue their Emergency Fund to help women cover essentials such as food, utility bills, home security measures, and legal fees.
