#MetallicaGivesBack to Three Local Organizations in Charlotte
JUNE 2, 2025
Metallica’s stop in Charlotte allowed AWMH the opportunity to give back within that community. Once again, Metallica and AWMH have chosen local nonprofit organizations to receive grants to support the community M72 visits in the areas of food insecurity and critical local services. Receiving funds in Charlotte are Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, Hope Street Food Pantry, and Charlotte Family Housing.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina strives to eliminate hunger through education, advocacy, and partnerships by soliciting and distributing food in 24 counties across the Carolinas. Since 1981, SHMETROLINA has provided a regional distribution warehouse and branches that supply food and grocery items to charitable agencies that assist people in need. Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina is receiving $15,000.
Special thanks to our Metallica Family volunteers who donated their time for a shift at Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina where they helped pack over 31,000 meals for local residents facing food insecurity. Additional thanks to our longtime partners at Carhartt for keeping them cozy and stylish in these exclusive M72 x AWMH Brite Orange Knit Cuffed Beanies.
