Longmont Times Call: Metallica’s foundation pledges $100K to FRCC advanced manufacturing
Members of the band Metallica donated $100,000 through their foundation to support advanced manufacturing programs at Front Range Community College.
FRCC is one of 11 community colleges chosen nationwide for a highly competitive grant awarded by Metallica’s foundation, All Within My Hands, through the Metallica Scholars Initiative. The grant is awarded to community colleges leading in relevant technical programs, and FRCC is the first-ever Colorado community college to be selected.
