Metallica's Aussie Tour Sparks Record-Setting Blood Donation Drive Across Five Cities
Metallica's first tour in Australia in more than a decade has resulted in one of the biggest surges in blood donations on record. The iconic heavy metal band's M72 world tour saw them play five shows across five nights in five Aussie cities this month.
They partnered with the Australian Red Cross's Lifeblood program for the tour, which gave fans a limited edition t-shirt if they donated blood, plasma, and platelets at one of the CBD centres in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne.
