Terry - Guilford Technical Community College

This belief was instilled in Terry and his siblings by their mother at an early age, making Terry determined to better his life through higher education. Following his interest in aviation, he enrolled in Guilford Technical Community College.
“I have always been passionate about learning and have dreamed of one day owning my own aircraft and becoming a pilot. My long-term goals include earning my certifications and degrees in aviation manufacturing and, afterwards, transferring to a four-year university. I eventually wish to go to pilot school. I am confident that with these degrees and certifications, I will have the knowledge and skills to live a long life and enjoy a prosperous career.”
Terry received funding as a Metallica Scholar to help cover tuition and course materials, citing the financial assistance as a factor in his academic success.
