Lucy - Guam Community College

Along with programs in all 50 United States, one of the schools we fund is in the Western Pacific territory of Guam. Guam Community College uses our funding to support its Ship Repair Boot Camp. Ship repair boot camps and marine construction trades are in high demand in Guam’s ship repair industry. Participants receive training in Diesel Technology & Preventive Maintenance, Paint Preparation, and Blueprint Reading.

Lucy attended GCC’s Secondary Construction High School and proved to be one of the school’s top students. She then completed the Ship Repair Boot Camp, and with all that training, is poised to make a big splash in the local workforce.
