In February of 2017, we announced the formation of All Within My Hands. The Foundation aims to assist and enrich the lives of members of the communities who have supported the band for years, as well as encourage participation from fans and friends. All funds raised will be donated to a cross-section of national and local charities... every penny from your donations will go directly to our charity partners.
November 19, 2020: Did you miss Helping Hands last weekend? We’ve got you covered!
The overwhelmingly positive response to the show has blown our minds, and with the enthusiastic support of our fans, we are extending the opportunity to watch! We are so grateful for everyone who helped make this first of its kind event such a success. For those few hours, things felt as close to normal as they have all year and we loved being able to connect with fans all over the world and perform together again.
All funds raised by ticket purchases still go straight to the All Within My Hands Foundation to assist in their work of supporting communities in need. The show will be available to buy until 11:59 PM PST on Giving Tuesday, December 1st. Thank you to all our fans out there for helping us give back! Get the Show >
Even at their quietest, the talent of Metallica is deafening.
On Saturday, Nov. 14, fans from across the globe logged on to watch the Bay Area’s biggest band perform a special, semi-acoustic concert streamed live from the band’s headquarters in San Rafael. The occasion was Metallica’s second annual benefit concert in support of its charity, All Within My Hands.
When Polk State Machining Instructor James Gibbons informed Williams that full scholarships were available through the Metallica Scholars Initiative for students to participate in the eight-week Computer Numeric Control (CNC) Machining Program, Williams called it a “prudent decision” to sign up.
Metallica Scholars and Workforce Education
Following a stellar inaugural year with results including job placement rates exceeding 90%, year two of the Metallica Scholars Initiative will add five more community colleges. These 15 schools have each received $100,000 toward programs designed to support students training to enter the American workforce.
VIP Experiences and Collectible Memorabilia
In conjunction with GoFundMe Charity, Metallica provided experiences for lucky winners on every stop of the North American WorldWired Tour. AWMH frequently runs sweepstakes through the same platform where fans win awesome prizes while raising money for the foundation!
